Terms of Service
1. Introductory provisions
These Terms of Service govern the mutual rights and obligations between DoC solutions s.r.o., Reg. No. 23202424, VAT ID CZ23202424, registered office at Na Vyhlídce 1423/35, 373 16 Dobrá Voda u Českých Budějovic, Czech Republic ("we", "us", "the provider"), and any person or company who orders a check of an EU Declaration of Conformity through mycecheck.com ("the customer").
2. Description of the service
We provide a paid check of an existing EU Declaration of Conformity submitted by the customer, carried out by automated analysis of the uploaded document whose output is always reviewed and approved by a named expert of the provider before it is sent to the customer. The output is a written report (PDF) listing findings and recommendations.
The report is an expert opinion based on the documents and answers the customer provided. It is not a conformity assessment carried out by a notified body and does not replace product testing — see the Disclaimer for details. The service is provided in the field of technical analysis; the provider does not offer legal advice or representation before courts or other authorities.
3. Placing an order
An order is created by completing the intake questionnaire, uploading the required documents, and completing payment. Submitting an order confirms that the customer has read and agrees to these Terms of Service.
4. Price and payment
Checking one declaration costs €99, a re-check €39, and express (24-hour) turnaround adds 50% on top — all prices exclusive of VAT. The current price list, including bulk packages for repeat customers, is always shown on the provider's website.
Payment is processed by Stripe via a hosted checkout page, in advance and before the review begins. VAT is calculated automatically at checkout based on the customer's billing location and, for EU businesses, a valid VAT ID entered at checkout (reverse charge under the EU VAT Directive); no VAT is charged to customers established outside the EU. A payment is considered made once Stripe confirms it to the provider.
5. Delivery
We aim to deliver the report within 48 hours of payment being confirmed, on business days, or within 24 hours if express turnaround was ordered. These timeframes are indicative and may extend if completing the check requires further input from the customer. The report is delivered by email to the address the customer provided and remains available for download from the case status page.
6. Withdrawal and complaints
Because this is digital content/a service supplied at the customer's request before the statutory withdrawal period expires, the customer may ask the provider to begin performance before that period ends; doing so, the customer acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the check is complete. Before automated analysis begins, the customer may withdraw from the order without giving a reason by contacting info@posouzenishody.cz.
Complaints about the quality or content of a report are handled individually — contact info@posouzenishody.cz.
7. Confidentiality
We keep confidential all information and materials received from the customer in connection with the service (in particular uploaded documentation, technical data and product trade secrets), and will not disclose them to a third party unless expressly authorised by the customer or required by law.
8. Personal data
We process the customer's personal data (in particular contact email and any personal data contained in uploaded documents) only to the extent necessary to provide the service, in accordance with the GDPR. Details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
The report is an expert opinion based on the documents and answers the customer provided — it does not replace product testing against harmonised standards or a conformity assessment by a notified body where one is required. The provider does not verify the authenticity or completeness of materials submitted by the customer beyond what can be determined from those materials, and is not liable for damage arising from incorrect, incomplete or misleading materials.
Given the specific nature of the service, the provider's total liability for damage (including any claim arising from defective performance) in connection with this service is limited to the total invoiced price of the relevant check; the provider is not liable for lost profit or other indirect damage. Legal services (legal advice, representation in proceedings) are not part of the service.
Sole responsibility for the product's conformity with applicable EU legislation and for issuing the EU Declaration of Conformity rests with the manufacturer (or their authorised representative) — see the Disclaimer for details.
10. Final provisions
These Terms of Service, and any legal relationship arising from them, are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected; the provider and the customer agree to replace it with a provision of similar economic effect.
Any disputes arising from this contract are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic, with local jurisdiction of the District Court in České Budějovice. The provider reserves the right to amend these terms to a reasonable extent.
