Selling into the EU without a base here?
Under most CE-marking directives (Machinery, Radio Equipment, PPE, Toys, and more) and under the General Product Safety Regulation (2023/988) for everything else, non-EU manufacturers need either an Authorised Representative or a Responsible Person established in the Union. Without one, customs can hold your shipment and marketplaces can pull your listing — this is the single most common gap we find during a MyCECheck review.

How it works
1. Short questionnaire
Tell us about your company and product range — the same details as a MyCECheck review, so if you've already run one, most of this is filled in.
2. Eligibility & document check
We confirm which role you need — Authorised Representative, Responsible Person, or both — and check your existing documentation is ready.
3. Agreement & registration
You sign the representation agreement; we issue your EU address and certificate, usually the same day as payment.
4. Ongoing representation
We hold your documentation, respond to authority requests on your behalf, and remind you before anything needs renewing.

Do I need this in addition to a Declaration of Conformity check?+
Often both: the DoC check verifies your documentation is correct, this service provides the EU-based legal presence most products need regardless of how correct your paperwork is.
What happens if a market surveillance authority contacts you?+
We respond on your behalf within the agreed support hours, forward you a summary, and advise what — if anything — you need to do.
Can I cancel after the first year?+
Yes, representation renews annually and either side can choose not to renew — see the Terms of Service for the notice period.
Does this cover the Packaging Regulation (PPWR) too?+
Packaging & label review is included from the Growth tier; a standalone PPWR-only engagement can be arranged on request.
