Nature of the service
The report issued by MyCECheck is an expert opinion based solely on the documents and answers provided by the customer. Every analysis is reviewed and approved by a named expert at DoC solutions s.r.o. before it is sent to the customer.
What the report does not replace
- product testing against harmonised standards,
- a conformity assessment carried out by a notified body where one is required,
- legal advice,
- an official position from a market surveillance authority.
Limitation of liability
The report is based on materials submitted by the customer; the provider does not verify their authenticity or completeness beyond what can be determined from the documents submitted. The provider is not liable for damage arising from incorrect, incomplete or misleading materials provided by the customer. To the extent permitted by the applicable law of the Czech Republic, the provider's liability for damage arising in connection with this service is limited to the amount paid for the relevant check.
The manufacturer's ultimate responsibility
Sole responsibility for the product's conformity with applicable EU legislation and for issuing the EU Declaration of Conformity rests with the manufacturer (or their authorised representative) — MyCECheck is a supporting check, not a transfer of that responsibility.
Use of automated analysis
A first draft of the findings may be produced with the help of automated document analysis. That draft is never sent to a customer as-is — a named human expert at DoC solutions s.r.o. always reviews, edits and approves the findings and the overall verdict before the report is delivered.
