A test certificate is not a Declaration of Conformity

A test certificate reports the outcome of specific tests, issued by a testing laboratory. It is valuable evidence, but only the manufacturer, importer or authorised representative can declare that a product meets all applicable EU requirements — and only they can sign the Declaration of Conformity. No laboratory can issue that document on your behalf.

Without a Declaration of Conformity, the product may not legally be placed on the EU market, even with perfect test results. Keep your certificate — it belongs in your technical file — and let us help you turn it into a proper Declaration of Conformity.
